Integration assistance according to § 35a SGB VIII is intended to support children and adolescents in their participation in social life and in their social integration. This may be the case, for example, if mental problems arise due to a reading and spelling disability or a dyscalculia.
The need for participation is assessed individually by the Youth Welfare Office.
