Seasonal licence plate

You would like to apply for a seasonal license plate for a vehicle already registered to you. The period is a minimum of two and a maximum of eleven months. Only one period can be specified.

If a seasonal license plate is applied for as part of a registration (e.g. new registration/registration), please read under the respective category which additional documents you require for this. Note: The vehicle is also considered to be registered (not put out of service) outside of the operating period. During this time, the vehicle may not be used in public traffic. Parking outside the operating period on public roads and parking lots is not allowed. The insurance must be seamless, even outside the operating period. If the validity of the HU or AU expires outside the operating period, it must be made up for in the first month of validity.
