In addition to the police, the traffic monitoring service of the city of Rosenheim has been responsible since October 1987 for the prosecution of minor administrative offenses according to § 24 StVG, which are detected in stationary traffic and, among other things, when entering the pedestrian zone.
For the monitoring of flowing traffic, the city of Rosenheim has been an official member of the Zweckverband Kommunales Dienstleistungszentrum Oberland with headquarters in Bad Tölz since June 30, 2007.
The special-purpose association monitors compliance with the maximum permissible speed of motor vehicles in the city area at various measuring points. Especially in traffic-calmed areas, speed 30 and speed 50 zones as well as speed-reduced areas outside built-up areas in the vicinity of school facilities, kindergartens and senior citizens' homes, the measuring points were determined together with the special-purpose association, the police and the road traffic authority of the city of Rosenheim.
Often wrong thought
In the case of parking violations, it is generally assumed that the "traffic offender" acted negligently (not consciously).
Perhaps you have also had doubts about whether and how long you are allowed to park in certain places. Here are some traffic signs explained in more detail, which are often "wrongly thought".
Only holding (3 minutes) or charging activity is allowed, but it must be done immediately, which means that the charging process must be carried out without delay.
Neither stopping nor parking is allowed here. Even stopping briefly to let someone in or out is not permitted.
In this area, it is only allowed to drive in during the delivery times (in Rosenheim at Max-Josefs-Platz, Heilig-Geist- and Hafnerstraße, Ludwigsplatz, Am Salzstadel: 6:00-10:00 a.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m. and Ludwigsplatz Grüner Markt 6:00-9:00 a.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m. ) for the purpose of loading and unloading; if it is absolutely necessary to drive in the pedestrian zone outside these times, an exception permit can be applied for.
The parking ticket must always be clearly visible in the vehicle. Before leaving the vehicle, it is advisable to check that the ticket has been correctly displayed (i.e. with the time stamp facing upwards). If the parking ticket machine is defective, the maximum parking time indicated on the parking ticket machine may be used free of charge. In this case, a parking disc with the correct arrival time (start of parking) must be displayed in the vehicle. This regulation also applies to defective parking meters.
An additional sign with the inscription "werktags" always includes Saturday. "The working day is in contrast to Sunday and public holidays, consequently Saturday is also a working day" according to the Bavarian Supreme Court.
