A municipality's compulsory duties include fighting fires effectively and eliminating imminent fire and explosion hazards. In addition, it must ensure sufficient technical assistance in the event of other accidents or emergencies in the public interest.
To this end, it establishes and equips municipal fire departments and ensures their maintenance.
For the safety of the residents and visitors of the city of Rosenheim provide these Six volunteer fire departments:
- Aising
- Aisingerwies
- Happing
- Pang
- Rosenheim
- Western Village St. Peter
