Basic benefits for old age and reduced earning capacity
Citizens who have reached the age of 65 can apply for basic benefits in old age. In addition, persons who have reached the age of 18 and are permanently incapacitated for work are entitled to benefits.
Persons capable of working and their dependents are entitled to unemployment benefit II/Hartz IV.
