The pedestrian zones in Rosenheim are:
- the Max-Josefs-Platz
- the Ludwigsplatz
- a partial area of Münchener Straße
- a partial area "Am Salzstadel
These areas are located in the center of the city. The city of Rosenheim has issued a statute for special uses in the pedestrian zone. The usage fees were changed with the amendment of the statutes on 01.07.2009. For example, outdoor seating of restaurants, advertising stands of stores, scaffolding on building facades or information stands must be applied for in writing. More information can be found in the flyer for regulations on use and design.
The areas of the pedestrian zone are generally closed to traffic. During delivery hours (6 a.m. to 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.), access for loading and unloading is permitted. Outside of these times, you need an access permit from the road traffic authority.
