Many people in Rosenheim want to help Ukrainian war refugees quickly and generously. However, uncoordinated donations in kind unfortunately do not help those affected. Therefore, monetary donations are more effective than donations in kind.
When you support aid organizations with a monetary donation , the aid arrives in a coordinated manner where it is urgently needed.
Donations for the local people who have fled Ukraine are gladly accepted by the Bürgerstiftung Rosenheim:

Ukrainian citizens with biometric passports can stay in Germany without a visa for 90 days. Ukrainian war refugees do not need a residence title retroactively from 24.02.2022 until 23.05.2022.
An application for asylum is not required, since by decision of the European Union the admission of war refugees from Ukraine takes place unbureaucratically according to § 24 Residence Act. Thus, there is no need to go through an asylum procedure.
Refugee Ukrainian nationals and third-country nationals who have a permanent residence title in Ukraine and have lived in Ukraine until 24.02.2022 can apply for a residence title.
The residence title is generally issued for a period of two years and also applies to family members. As soon as an application is submitted, a so-called fictitious certificate will be sent promptly as provisional proof. This is already associated with a work permit. As soon as the residence permit can be issued, the Foreigners' Registration Office informs without being asked and assigns an appointment.
Before applying for a residence permit, you must register your current residential address with the Citizens' Registration Office of the City of Rosenheim. Therefore, if you have moved into private accommodation in the city of Rosenheim or have been assigned an apartment by the Social Welfare Office, please register at the Bürgeramt der Stadt Rosenheim. You can make an appointment by calling 08031/365 13 61.
