Our city administration currently has about 1,000 employees serving a population of about 64,000. As an independent city, we take care of many different concerns of our citizens: Economy, public safety and order, youth, social affairs, schools, culture and sports, urban planning, environment, construction and much more. What we offer
We offer you fair pay in accordance with the collective agreement for the public sector(TVöD), including an attractive supplementary pension plan for statutory pension insurance.
Civil servants are remunerated according to the Bavarian salary law.

We attach great importance to training our own junior staff in various apprenticeships. Due to the size of our city administration, there are also excellent opportunities for professional development and promotion after training. In addition to external training opportunities, for example at the Bavarian School of Administration, we offer a wide range of on-site seminars and small group coaching. Our in-house management development program prepares junior staff for their future tasks.

Family or career? We think: family and career! The prerequisites for this are flexible flextime arrangements and forms of work as well as generous leave options. In principle, a working time window from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. offers the opportunity to organize working hours individually. Working part-time is a matter of course at the City of Rosenheim, even in management positions. Provided there are no official reasons for not doing so, some of the tasks can be performed from home. Generous leave options offer the opportunity to plan for a longer family phase and then return to work. A crisis-proof, location-based job is guaranteed.
Healthy at work
The health of our employees is close to our hearts. That is why we actively promote preventive health measures in the workplace and are currently developing a company health management system with numerous offers. Our Staff Council organizes a wide range of company sports activities in which employees can participate free of charge or for a small fee. As part of company integration management, we try to provide employees with health problems with the best possible support for their reintegration.
