Results of the 2026 city council election

After the local elections on 8 March 2026, the Rosenheim City Council will be newly composed. The CSU remains the strongest party with 32.4% and 14 seats. The Greens follow with 19.6% and 9 seats. The SPD achieved 18.3% and 8 seats. The AfD achieved 12.5 % of the vote, giving it 5 seats on the city council. The FREIEN WÄHLER / UP achieved 6.9% and 3 seats. With 6.5% and 3 seats, the Left Party makes it onto the city council for the first time. The FDP and ÖPD enter the city council with one seat each and 1.8% and 1.4% respectively. The Republicans miss out on a place on the city council with 0.6%.
