Rosenheim culture of remembrance: Launch of the #ROmember app with tour on 1 April
Rosenheim's culture of remembrance - now also interactive. Tuesday 1 April 2025 sees the launch of the #ROmember app. The app offers interactive access to Rosenheim's Nazi history, which is conveyed via multimedia content such as podcast-style contributions, historical sources and photos.
In addition to the online tour on 1 April, there will also be a guided tour of selected stations of Rosenheim's culture of remembrance. The meeting point is at 16:00 at the town hall.
The #ROmember app is a joint project of the Municipal Museum and the Rosenheim City Archive. Pupils and the "Initiative for Remembrance Culture and Stumbling Stones" were also involved in the development of the app, which will be available from 1 April in both the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store.
The artist Christiane Huber, who also designed the memorials for victims of Nazi persecution that have been placed in urban areas since the end of 2022, played a key role in compiling the content. The app was technically implemented as part of the fabulAPP funding programme of the State Office for Non-State Museums in Bavaria.
