Maintenance work at the ice rink

The renovation of the Rosenheim ice stadium is entering the next round. Work has now started on the roof and facade renovation as part of the 14.5-million-euro project.
These will take place both this year and in 2024 during the ice-free period. Currently, the roof foil and the metal and glass facade are being renewed and the concrete supports are being refurbished. In addition, the entrance doors, the ice gangway and the wheelchair ramps will be renewed.
The current measures are being funded with up to 2.2 million euros through the federal program "Renovation of Municipal Facilities in the Areas of Sports, Youth and Culture" by the Federal Ministry of the Interior, Construction and Home Affairs.
Between 2018 and 2021, the escape stairs have already been brought up to date, the plant technology and fire protection upgraded, and the lighting converted to LED.
