ISEK public participation enters the final round

The "Public Space and Mobility" theme week as part of the "Integrated Urban Development Concept - ISEK" is the last opportunity for Rosenheim residents to contribute their ideas on the future of the city. The fourth and final theme week between July 22 and 26, 2024 marks the end of the public participation period.

"The wishes, needs and suggestions of our citizens are particularly important for future urban development when it comes to the forward-looking topics of public space and mobility. Urban society is getting older, the climate is changing. As a result, the demands on public space and mobility in Rosenheim are changing not only as a whole, but also for each individual. We want to incorporate these perspectives into the concept," says Lord Mayor Andreas März, who is once again hoping for lively public participation in the final theme week.

"Public space and mobility" starts on Monday, 22.07.2024 at 19:00 with a keynote speech in the Ballhaus followed by a discussion. On Tuesday, 23.07.2024, the fourth Future Forum will also take place at 19:00 in the Ballhaus, where concrete project ideas will be developed. The theme week ends on Friday, 26.07.2024 with the market stall of ideas at Ludwigsplatz from 10:00 to 13:00. This is another opportunity to exchange and contribute ideas.

Parallel to this, online content such as the city exploration game including the chance to win "GoRosenheim" or the digital wall of ideas at www.wirmachenrosenheim.de will continue to be offered.

Once the public participation process is complete, specialist concepts on environmental and landscape issues will be drawn up, discussions will be held with the business community, the data will be evaluated and guidelines and measures will then be formulated and presented to the city council. The integrated urban development concept is expected to be presented in spring 2025.
