New tourist information centre opened in Rosenheim

"Our new tourist information centre is undoubtedly one of the most modern in the whole of Germany." With these words, Lord Mayor Andreas März officially opened the new visitor and ticket centre at the bus station in Heilig-Geist-Straße on Friday (17.10.2025).

According to the mayor, the tourist information centre is a lively meeting point for everyone - guests and locals alike, where you can not only get information, maps and flyers, but also immerse yourself in the history of the city using multimedia.

The new tourist information centre was completed less than a year and a half after the city council's decision in June 2024 and now boasts a bright atmosphere and spacious rooms for both guests and employees. The exterior design enhances the area at the bus station and the colour scheme inside is based on the façade colours of the historic buildings on Max-Josefs-Platz.

Visitors can enjoy an experience wall, screens, an interactive 3D city model and audio stations on Rosenheim personalities and the city's history. The offer is rounded off by a shop with Rosenheim merchandise.

The TicketCentre, which was previously located a few metres away next to the bakery, has also been integrated into the new tourist information centre.

"We have great potential for tourism in Rosenheim. Our guest arrivals and overnight stays are steadily increasing and were at record levels this July. Tourism in the city sets in motion a far-reaching value chain from which many benefit. Tourism is an important economic factor and brings money to Rosenheim! With the new tourist information centre, we are giving it a central point of contact in the heart of the city," said März.

"The new tourist information centre is a sign of things to come for tourism in our city. Our aim is to promote and expand tourism in Rosenheim, and the new tourist information centre is the ideal starting point for this," says Judith Gebhart from RosenheimTourismus.

The new tourist information centre at Heilig-Geist-Straße 15 is open from Monday to Friday between 09:00 and 17:00, and on Saturdays from 09:00 to 14:00. It can be reached by telephone on 08031 / 365 90 61.
