Register your residence on the Internet

New in town and need to register your residence? In Rosenheim, this can now be done digitally. This makes Rosenheim one of the first municipalities in Bavaria to offer this service.

"With the new online service, you can register your place of residence with our citizens' office in just a few minutes. No annoying search for an appointment and no waiting time. The service is also free of charge, so our new citizens have a modern, digital alternative at their disposal that saves time and travel," says Lord Mayor Andreas März.

An NFC-enabled mobile device or PC, the ID card app, an ID card with PIN and a user account are required for electronic residence registration. Further information and the link for residence registration can be found online at https://www.rosenheim.de/buergerservice/umzug/ummeldung-einer-wohnung/.

Digital registration for secondary residences is currently not possible because a personal consultation is required in this case.
