It is not necessary to present the license plates. You only need the registration certificate part II,
if there is a change of owner or
EC certificate of conformity / CoC
an old vehicle registration certificate is still available (allocation before 01.10.2005). Then this must be presented for the exchange into a registration certificate part II.
It is not necessary to make use of the option to take the license plate with you. Of course, you can also apply for a license plate from the new registration district. However, a transfer to the new address is required in any case.
