Change of address
You have moved your main residence or company headquarters within the registration district of the City of Rosenheim. This change must be reported to the registration authority without delay.

Required documents:
- Registration certificate part I (vehicle registration document)
- Proof of a valid general inspection (vehicle registration document, inspection report)
- Valid, changed identity card or passport of the vehicle owner or excerpt from the commercial register and changed business registration
- If applicable, power of attorney of the authorized representative(s), the authorized representative(s) must identify themselves.
Please note that you can also change your registration at the registration office by presenting the confirmation of the owner of the residence in connection with a registration or change of the vehicle documents.
Name change
If your name or business name has changed (e.g., due to marriage), these changes must be reported to the licensing authority immediately.
Required documents:
- Registration certificate part II (vehicle registration certificate)
- Registration certificate part I (vehicle registration document)
- Proof of a valid general inspection (vehicle registration document, inspection report)
- Valid ID card or passport of the vehicle owner or extract from the Commercial Register and business registration, if applicable certificate of change of name (e.g. marriage certificate), if not already noted in the ID card/passport
- If applicable, power of attorney from the authorized representative; the authorized representative must identify him/herself.
Technique change
You have made modifications to your vehicle through installation, addition or conversion.
Required documents:
- Registration certificate part II (vehicle registration certificate)
- Registration certificate part I (vehicle registration document)
- Proof of a valid general inspection (vehicle registration document, test report)
- Depending on the type of technical modification, test report on the modification acceptance in accordance with § 19 StVZO, manufacturer's certificate, installation certificate from a recognized workshop
- Electronic insurance confirmation (eVB number) if the vehicle type changes (e.g. conversion from passenger car to truck or passenger car to So. motor home)
- If necessary, power of attorney of the authorized representative(s), the authorized representative(s) must identify themselves.
